Overhead Crane Training Course

This unit may be delivered and assessed under the partnership agreement between Perth Training Centre and Trade Skills Training.

• Pre-operational checks
• Planning your work
• Safe slinging
• Safe operational procedure
• Signals and communication
• Shut down procedure

Suitability :
For persons over the age of 18. Students must also be free of any physical or medical condition that may affect the safe operation of an Overhead Crane, and speak the English language to a level that would ensure safe operation in an Australian workplace.

Prerequisites :

• Prerequisite unit of competency: None

Outcome :
Statement of Attainment for the nationally recognised unit of competency RIIHAN305A Operate a Gantry or Overhead Crane

Duration :
Two days, from 7.30AM to 4PM.
