Trade Skills Training offers this course as a nine day public course. Arrangements can be made to conduct the course on-site subject to the availability of suitable equipment and location. Special group arrangements, at on-site rates, can be made for companies to utilise the premises at Trade Skills Training in Midland.
The aim of this course is to provide participants with the knowledge, skills and understanding to effectively and safely perform scaffolding work at advanced level.
Pre-requisite - The pre-requisite for Basic Scaffolding is "UEPOPS201A - Comply with OH&S policy and procedures". The content of this unit is incorporated into the Package Scaffolding Course.

Those wishing to participate in this training course will need to be at least 18 years of age, be free of any physical or medical condition that may affect their ability to work as an advanced scaffolder.
To be successful participants must be able to use the English language to a level that would ensure safe operation in an Australian workplace.
Persons successfully completing the Course will be awarded a Certificate of Attainment in the National Competence Unit "UEPOPS215A - Perform basic scaffolding", "UEPOPS216A - Perform intermediate scaffolding" and "UEPOPS303A - Perform advanced scaffolding" from the Electrical Distribution Training Package. The pre-requisite "UEPOPS201A" will also be listed on the Certificate of Attainment in addition to the Scaffolding Units. Successful participants will also qualify to apply for the Worksafe WA National License Classes SB, SI and SA to carry out Advanced Scaffolding in a workplace.
This course is presented at Trade Skills Training in Midland or on-site by arrangement.
